The I-CropVision is an optical sorter for unwashed Independent potatoes.
Based on the unique, patented CropVision® technology, it enables quality sorting of potatoes prior to storage at high throughput.
The I-CropVision® module is equipped with industrial cameras coupled with an Artificial Intelligence algorithm. This unique, patented combination enables the entire surface of the potato to be analyzed (360°), so that it can be accurately classified according to quality:
- Clod of earth
- Pebbles
- Miscellaneous waste
- Flawless potato
- Green potato
- Cut potatoes
- Spoiled potato
- Deformed potato
- Cracked potato
The independent DOWNS I-CropVision® optical sorter module has 3 potato outlets: one for the product to be preserved, one for the product to be disposed of, and one for the second category. Depending on the operator’s choice, the ejector fingers direct the product to the right outlet.
Thanks to a 360° analysis of each individual potato, the I- CropVision® provides the user with precise information on the potatoes stored. It is thus possible to obtain a wide range of information, such as potato sizes per batch, or potato quality.
The I- CropVision® is easy to use, thanks to a touch screen, and has been designed to limit the impact on the potatoes, thanks to a limited drop height between the 2 conveyors.
The arrival of the I-CropVision independent optical sorter for unwashed potatoes means that all potato growers can now equip themselves with an optical sorter. The I-CropVision® can be integrated into all existing systems. So, whatever the manufacturer, the year of manufacture or the location, the I-CropVision® optical sorter will find its place. Totally autonomous and versatile, it can be adapted to the different phases of potato production. It can be used for harvesting behind a digger, a combi or a receiving hopper. For potato shipments, the stand-alone I-CropVision module will find its place in front of a receiving hopper or behind a crate turner. This will enable you to perform a double quality sort according to your selection criteria.
